Is that supposed to be a compliment? He didn't say it with a negative tone. Or he said that because I'm weird?

Now, some guys will say things to butter girls up, generally speaking to get the girl to sleep with them. Still, when a guy tells you that he finds you unique, this a very good thing. Guys, like girls, like interesting, original people! Assuming he's telling the truth (you don't have reason to believe otherwise, do you?) then he's just paid you a complement. Don't over-think this one! Yes, he likes you.

Yeah I'm told that alot, just means that he likes the way you are, your personality and your mind set. Yes he is attracted to you, guys don't run aorund giving combo compliments because they want to just be friends lol. Your not weird honey! Different is great, its good to have a strong individuality

It's meant as a compliment, yeah. He's trying to say that you stand out, that you're special. No clue if he really means this or has just figured out that this is a good way to get in a girl's pants.
