Is it just me or does Sandra Bullock always play a cop or the wife of someone who works in a legal profession?

Some of these listed do involve the legal system but not in the way of her being a cop. She's been in so many movies that some of the roles are obviously going to be similar. But overall, she actually has a very wide spectrum of roles and personalities. She's actually one of my favorite actresses. You must not have seen many of her movies if you think she's the same in all of her movies...and there's A LOT more I didn't even list.

Well that's just your opinion. Not everyone thinks the same. I happen to love her movies. If you don't like her then don't watch her, that's fine. I simply gave my opinion.

I've noticed that she usually plays a woman. ;) Other than that... she's had a few "cop - comedy" roles, but I've not thought of it as being almost every role.

Let's go with major films back to 2000.

Out of 17 films since 2000 (cutting out TV roles, "minor" roles, and All About Steve); 6 or 7 have SOMETHING to do with Law (one is a sequel and arguably shouldn't count) - loosely, at least. 3, she's a writer/in publishing. Ther'es a bunch where we don't know, and a myriad of different roles playing women with various jobs. So... it's just you.
