Do guys tend to get jealous when their crush talks to other guys?

If a guy has a crush on a girl, is it likely he will get jealous if she just talks to other guys I front of him?

I know a friend of mine has feelings for me. Among other really obvious signs, he seems to get weird or possibly jealous if I talk to any other guy in front of him.

If a guy compliments me in front of him, he will literally just stare him down and not say anything. Like if a guy who is my friend just tells me I'm pretty he will just stare at my friend.

I was talking to a guy online and smiling a lot and he said something about noticing I was excited and he then asked if I was talking to this other guy. I said I was and he was like "oh, ok" and got a little weird.

Little things like that. I have just noticed that he observes my interactions with other guys more than anyone else would.

And I'm not a flirty girl! I'm quite shy. I don't even know what flirting is honestly.

Is it common for a guy to get kind of "possessive" of his crush like that?

Yeah it's definatly common especially when guys are younger. He sounds like he keeps it in check pretty well and doesn't try to tell you what u should or shouldn't do or who he thinks it's ok to talk to. more points for him if he doesn't even point out flaws in these guys, who are entirely possibuly trying to get to be something more than friends with you. womoen don't realize or want to really, just how often this is the case. something like 90% of guys will entertain the idea that are acting friendly to you. I think this dude sounds like a solid choice honestly but im just assuming im getting the big picture from an impression left by a few words really

He never says anything bad about any guys I talk to.

He is a great guy for sure and I like him a lot as a friend, but I don't see him as more. I'm also not looking for a relationship because I will be moving in a couple of months!

That's a bit sad but so is life; I mean the moving thing and just from where I stand. If your excited and he has a crush maybe it'll be a relief and if he doesn't and is just a protective friend when you move maybe it'll open up new possibilities for him too you know.

I suppose I would, but then again, most of the girls I liked I found out later had boyfriends.

I actually knew a girl who was like that with me, she is the one who seemed to get jealous though. I dont know why, I thought she had a boyfriend already... hmm.

Depends on how girls talk to other guys. Normal conversation does not make us jealous, but flirting conversation makes us jealous.
