I wanna share my story with you all so maybe some of you can relate. It's kinda long so just bear with me. April of last year I came home from school one day and I was nauseous, disoriented, my hands and feet were tingling and I had a headache. My parents took me too the hospital and everyone, including my parents, thought I was on drugs. I wasn't of course, but even when the drug testing came back negative the nurses and doctors still believed that I was on drugs.


I was fine for 3 weeks. I woke up one morning with a headache and while I was eating lunch with my mother my eyelids began to droop and I had uncontrollable laughter for 3 hours. They gave me a migraine cocktail and sent me home. For 7 weeks after that incident I was bedridden. I had a non-stop headache, abdominal pain, severe fatigue, joint and muscle aches, a butterfly rash on my face, blurred vision, swollen face, neck pain and droopy eyelids. It was absolutely terrible.


I went to many specialists and they didn't know how to diagnose what ever it was I had. After getting on medication the headache finally stopped and I started to feel somewhat better. The fatigue, muscle and joint pain, blurry and droopy eyes, facial rash, abdominal pain, neck pain and swollen face still stayed with me and the headaches were slowly decreasing. I didn't go to the hospital for four months after that.


In October I got woken up from a nap with excruciating lower abdominal and pelvic pain. I went to the ER and they asked me to give a urine sample. (This next part may be a little gross.) So I went to give the urine sample and I started peeing blood. It didn't look like any pee was in there and you couldn't even see through the cup. They said I had a severe UTI, but there was no protein in the culture so I think they didn't know what it was. They put me on antibiotics for it and sent me home.


10 days later after I finished the entire dose of antibiotics I had an allergic reaction. There was an itchy rash all over my body and my face, tongue and throat were very swollen. They put me on a steroid doce pack and sent me home. I stayed out of the hospital for 1 month.


In January of this year I had the excruciating lower abdominal and pelvic pain again except I didn't pee any blood this time. I went to the ER and after they did an ultrasound they diagnosed me with a congested uterus. Another fake diagnosis because they didn't know what it was. (This is extremely embarrassing.)


2 days later I had really bad left breast pain and I was back in the ER yet again. I got an ultrasound and there was an abscess with a lot of puss inside. They had to stick 5 very long needles into my breast to drain it out.


I still live every single day with the abdominal pain, joint and muscle pain, fatigue, blurred vision, droopy eyelids, facial rash and swelling and I occasionally get the migraine headaches. The eye doctor I went to a few months back said that I have 20/20 vision and that whatever's causing the blurred vision isn't in the eye structure.


I went to get a second opinion and I was diagnosed with Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome. I was put on a nerve medication and was told to exercise for 45 minutes 6 days a week for 6 weeks as that was the cure. I did everything I was supposed to do and it didn't work. The doctor said that within 3 weeks I was supposed to be feeling all better , but I don't. The exercise actually made the pain and fatigue worse.


I went to the doctors today and I was really disappointed. I expected that we were going to try finding a correct diagnosis since I was feeling worse on the one that was originally given to me , but instead I was told to keep up the exercise and my pain meds were increased.
