Visual Snow: Statics in My Vision 24/7

It started when I was in 1st grade. I was laying down on my bed looking up at my ceiling. But this time something was off. Pixilations were everywhere around my vision. So I quickly dashed to my mom. She dismissed it and didn't believe me.


After that I ignored it for years and years moving on with life as normal. I soon completely forgot about it until a few years ago.


A few years ago I remembered and I wondered about it again. Like last time I told my mom...But this time she listened. My friends in school never listened to me ranting about visual snow. But my fellow people at my religious building did. I was happy when a group if people actually believed me.


Now, visual snow is when a person sees static like specks in their vision 24/7 similar to when the TV goes static. I repeat the statics are 24/7 and constant. I see it more in darker places. Bright light seems to help drown the statics. This type of disease which causes visual disturbance is not very common and rarely any doctor knows what it is.

For me the statics are pulsing. But it could be different for different people with visual snow. My statics are actually a bit more translucent than the pic above but it does act as a picture that gives the general idea.


Visual snow has other symptoms besides statics though statics are the main one...


For people like me...Please spread awareness about this disease. One day there will be a cure!


After that I would see the world as clear as can be. I can just imagine the night skies that were always over me.


Being as clear as can be.
