What's the spiciest thing you have ever eaten and did you regret is afterwards?

I had this pizza, that had habenaro, a jalapeno peppers on it and the sauce was made with habenaro as well.

The spiciest thing I've had in my life is 'woman' NOTHING beats that in a combination of being sweetest & spiciest :D lol

Ok coming down to the 'cooked & grown on roots' stuff, the kind of spices that are available out here are unparalleled except maybe the middle East & Africa and I LOVE them as much as I love sweet.

I indulge less off late but when I do eat even the cook refuses to make it any spicier lol & there are times those next to me cringe lol I sweat like I'm a rain cloud but I love it & washing it down with a cup of hot ginger tea is an awesome feeling :D :D

P.S. Jalapeno is not considered too spicy out here :D ;)

I don't know what the hottest thing I ate was. It was at a Caribbean restaurant that I used to go to sometimes. It was a lamb dish with about a teaspoon of sauce on the side. The sauce was white and very hot (way hotter than habanero). Too bad that place went out of business, they were really good.

I like hot spicy food, but it's gotta have good flavor. Some things are hot but don't have flavor. Like cayenne and tobasco have approximately the same hotness, but I like cayenne based sauces way better than tobasco.

I had a curry made with the naga chilli pepper (one of the hottest in the world). There was about 3 in there, it wasn't as hot as I expected so I ate the chillis they left in, it felt like eating fire :P

10/10 would burn mouth again

I'm a spicy food lover. I often put around 7-8 javanese (orange chilli from indonesia) chili on my instant noodle. The last time I eat spicey food was 'ayam penyet' (indonesian traditional food with smashed chili on it) it taste good on my tongue but damaged on my stomach. I can't help cause I like spicy food so much. I can't eat if there's no chili.

My parents are Sri Lankan. Their version of "soap in the mouth" as punishment was a teaspoon of chilli powder.

On the plus side, it helped build my spice tolerance.

I love incredibly spicy food, and when I go to Thai restaurants I always ask for my food "Thai Hot" which means "real spicy!" I once ordered Penang Curry at a small Thai restaurant and said "Tell the chef to make it as spicy as humanly possible". He did as I requested and it's by far the spiciest meal I've ever eaten. I had to hiccup after every bite! But I ate it all.

I ate fresh jalapeño seeds. My mouth didn't burn much but my lips felt like they had a serious burn. I dunked my face in milk for five minutes after that. I've had habenero hot sauce and it wasn't particularly hot. I think it depends on how many seeds are in it.

I think it was because I tried chewing the seeds individually. Usually people chew the pepper and swallow the seeds. Like I said, the brutal part was putting those seeds against my lips.

I ate a slice of habanero pepper at work one time and it put me out of commission for like 20 minutes lol. Like I was physically incapable of working! And I can normally do spicy foods, no problem...
