I worked 8 hours and my job won't pay me for it now what?

I use dayforce at work and so I authorized my hours without checking it and realized I worked Friday and they never put in that I worked friday. Im missing 8 hours of labor. Its the end on the pay period and my hours are lock. I been trying to email my manager but having a hard time?

You'll miss the hours on your coming check, but stay on your manager to ensure you get those hours on the following check. Or, perhaps he can cut a check for the missing hours.

If you can prove you worked those hours, they're going to want to pay you. Otherwise, it becomes a dept of labor issue.

If a lot of time passes, you may need to prove that you worked the hours. Try to get any documentation that you can while the event is still fresh. But probably you can straighten it out next time you see your manager.

Contact your companies. Human Resources or payroll manager. See what they say. You will likely get it added on your next pay.

See if you catch him tomorrow, but it sounds like you may have missed this pay period and will just get credited during the next pay period.
