well when you cut your diet most people tend to lose fat off their face first. maybe try having 1 extra cheat meal a day and workout a little harder to still burn the fat but maybe it won't come off your face first since you're still eating somewhat bad. I notice gains of fat in the face mainly from ingesting bad foods.

Just how it is, i show weight gain/loss in my face a lot. Staying lean looks better then when i first drop, i think, skin reacts a little, plus people get used to your more chisselled look.
If you loose weight, you loose it from all over your body, not specific areas. The fact that your cheeks look hollow might mean that you have lost too much weight.
Chew some gum? That might help work your facial muscles
