Trending & News The correct way of taking care of an uncircumcised penis is by leaving it alone.
Yes, of course you can pull the foreskin back and yes you can wash it. I never had an infection and that without somebody mutilating my penis. I would have been pissed if my parents would have me circumcised without my consent.
I don’t know why people talk about circumcised being cleaner but it makes absolutely no sense!! That foreskin is there for a reason. It’s for protection. Without it every bacteria can now freely jump on to your penis.
What’s next? Removing your eyelids because that’s cleaner? Removing the vaginal lips because that’s cleaner? And wouldn’t the human body die within days because of virus infections if we had no protecting skin?
Leave it be and let the boy decide for himself what he wants. Trust me. Someday you and him will thank me for it.
Removing your nails because that way you won't get dirt under them
An uncircumcised penis is typically "healthier" for lack of a better word. The penis head is not meant to be constantly exposed. The glans of a circumcised penis become less sensitive faster with age resulting in a higher likelihood of erectile dysfunction. However someone with an uncircumcised penis must clean the head regularly to avoid infection.
I'm not, since I obviously don't have a penis lol. But my husband is uncircumcised and any future son we may have will remain uncircumcised.
Cleaning it is very easy. The skin can be pulled back on older boys and adult men, and that should be done in order to clean the head. It's also easy to get underneath the foreskin to clean under it. And it doesn't take ages like circumcised guys love to claim.
Cleaning an infant and toddlers penis is a little different since the foreskin does not retract. The penis can just be cleaned on the outside with warm water.
And you shouldn't ever try to retract a baby's foreskin, because it's still attached and that can cause damage or an infection.
THANK YOUUUUU!!! That was my question basically. I didn't know it changed with age.
Thanks for MH. Yeah, I think some people missed the second part of the Q. On infants and toddlers, the foreskin is attached to the penis. As he grows, it will gradually separate on it's own, and should never be pulled back until this has happened.
I prefer uncircumcised penises over anything. I'll never get my children circumcised. Just unneeded mutilation.

Yes I'm uncircumcised and yes I do wash my penis with soap by pulling back the foreskin and then cleaning it nicely.
If you don't do that , the smegma (combination of exfoliated (shed) epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, and moisture.) build up may lead to an infection.
Women have to "clean their folds" too , but due to the American circumcision culture that knowledge isn't too well known among the male side of things which is sad.
So for babies you have to pull it back too? It doesn't hurt?
No it doesn't as long as you don't stretch it TOO FAR back
I have a circumcised penis. An uncircumcised penis has extra skin which comes up and covers the head of the penis. Therefor if you have one you have to take extra care to clean the inside and outside. Where as with a circumcised penis it's easier to keep clean.
I'm talking to people that actually know what they are talking about but thanks for trying.
I was curcumcised as an adult.
You are supposed to NOT pull it back on infants. The foreskin normally stays attached to the head for years so there is no risk of cleanliness issues. However if it had been forced back early I suspect they now will have to keep cleaning under it regularly and teach their son to do it himself as soon as he's bathing himself.
Uncut penis here. Never had an actual problem aside from occasional dry skin depending on humidity etc. As for taking care of it - as far as I’m aware, it’s basically the same as caring for a vulva (spread the labia and wash with soap and water here and there). I pull back my foreskin and wash the tip of my penis here and there. Again, never any actual problems/infections etc. I love being uncut. I’m very glad my parents left the decision to me.
You're supposed to squeeze the penis shaft hear to the head, gently but enough so that you're holding onto his penis. Then slide back his foreskin and get the penis head wet. Then you can soap the penis, rinse it, and slide back up his foreskin. It's important for mothers like you and your colleague to know how to clean the uncircumcised penis if you like what you see.
As long as it is clean then I wouldn't worry about it. And if you need help in this area like most guys, use an antibacterial penis health creme once a day. These are made just for the penis and use vitamins and proteins to keep things in great shape down there. I use one and it makes a huge difference--- Man1 Man Oil. They have a money back guarantee, too. Hope this helps.
the idea that you should get circumsised for hygenic reasons existed before we had the cleaning possibilities we have today. I mean cmon on should we also cut off the womans vagina lip thingies in case they get stuck somewhere. give me a break lol
Did I ever say that I was mutilating my child?
no it wasn't directed at you you inderstood wrong! it was to parents that do
"All dicks look weird"
Hee hee
No I wouldn't circumcise him because the foreskin stops callusing on the head.
There's a membrane between that part of the penis and the foreskin. It will separate on its own over time. It's not advisable to rush that separation.
I am uncut, and was taught at an early age to give it a quick clean every time I had a bath, even if it was just to rinse it in the water. This is no different from washing your back or under your arms. I have never had an infection.
But do you pull the foreskin back or not?
I do, and have done pretty much since I can remember. Age five or so, probably before.
Leave the baby's penis alone! Never retract (pull down) a foreskin by force, or even try to retract a baby's foreskin. It's not meant to retract at that age. If there is a concern about an infection take the baby to a doctor.
I am circumcised, and I know a lot of you guys on this site are against it, so please dont respond or I'll block you.
The why even bother mention it? Get out of here troll.
I never had any problems. Just wash it, i wouldn't worry. You might want to ask a doctor about it, they would know best.
yes you have to clean under the foreskin so you don't get a infection, I pull mine back to clan it in the shower got to do that to keep it clean and infection and smell free
I'm uncut and I wasn't taught how to clean down there. Please teach your son! I know how to clean myself now but my tip is very sensitive due to the fact, I just started a while back. It hurts me a lot to touch it.
Uncircumcised more beautiful circumcised Penis. Very easy clean uncircumcised Penis. You can pulled back foreskin everyday with shower. Do you prefer uncircumcised penis or circumcised penis?
I am uncircumcised... No lie sometimes i wish i was...
This is ridiculous. You do realize that its cleaner to circumsize right? Dumbass westerners
The head of the penis is not naturally meant to be exposed. This causes a higher likelihood of infection and erectile dysfunction
@marksmith108 Actually circumcising the penis does not make it more likely for infections, it's the opposite actually. Uncut penises are more prone to giving and getting infections. I will concede on the point that circimcision leads to higher rates of erectile dysfunction as a man gets older, in his 50s, 60s, 70s, etc. Because the head of the penis is exposed all the time and can become desensitized. It doesn't happen to all or even the majority of cut men. The reason uncut penises are more susceptible to infection (that's a fact, it's non debatable) is because the foreskin can cause a hygeine problem if not washed properly or enough due to smegma that will build up. Also the foreskin is a membranous tissue, and like all membranous tissues they are more likely to catch and give STD's/HIV. This happens for the same reason that women are more prone to catching STD/HIV than men & gay men (doing anal) are at more or a risk, membranous tissue!
@marksmith108 I didn't have enough room to finish in my previous comment but in parts of Africa they are now using male circumcision (particularly adult, so they get a choice) to combat the spread of HIV/AIDs. Condoms can be hard to come by at times in some areas so they are doing this to reduce risk. Personally, I don't mind either way, cut or uncut. Living in the US I've been w/mostly cut guys but I've been with 2 uncut. Both of the uncut I got infections from, UTIs, yeast, bv. Never got it besides with them. The 1st guy was just not clean enough, I tried hinting too. The 2nd guy showered before & after sex almost each time but still 2 times had a fishy smell on his dick so I didn't go down. I think he knew. I liked his penis tho, it wasn't fully covered & I could barely tell. Not sure yet what I'll do if I have a son, most guys are good w/it. As far as sensitivity I've never noticed a sensitivity issue w/cut guys, almost too sensitive sometimes! Lol
I am uncircumcised and would not change it. If I had boys differently they would be intact. I have not any problems.
This is 400bc, circumcision isn't a thing thats needed anymore
I am uncircumcised and if or when I have boys they will be left natural.
To get it circumcised

Not circumcised, I don't have a turtleneck

Good for you.
