I would say cheerleading cause it would give you the
benefit of trying something new , this has been something
you have always wanted to do , you have done swimming
but there is lot risk too with that and having a busy schedule
trying to be well rested for swimming is another worry too
when your in college there is lot stress i just think cheerleading
would be more safe and less stressor on you in college.

If you want to do it competitively you HAVE to have a background in gymnastics for cheerleading. If you don't, you'll never be good enough at it to be competitive. You'll be able to do it casually, yes, but not competitively. You're a lot less likely to injure yourself swimming too.
Swimming is better. That being said, my boyfriend swims in college and he says it is the hardest thing he has ever done in his life. WAY harder than HS. He thought he wanted to kill himself after practice in HS but he was wrong lol
Also... thought you had to be scouted in order to swim in college. Only the best make it from HS to the college level.
Weigh your options carefully. College is very different from high school. More responsibility and you have to keep your priorities straight. I personally would choose swimming than a club but up to you

1. You have experience swimming
2. Swimmers in my opinion are super duper attractive
3. Cheerleaders are generally snobby and are viewed as such
4. Cheerleaders are not as popular in collegeDo what makes you happy and it is good to try new things. Also swimming makes you feel like you didn't fit in then try something else and see if it makes feel different or the same.
Swimmers> cheerleaders
