Can you get frostbite on your tongue from eating frozen food?

I think I might have gotten frostbite on my tongue right now from eating way too many frozen cherries. I have the habit of eating a lot of frozen fruit, and am constantly chewing on ice cubs. I know this is not the best thing for your teeth, but oh well.
Now there is also a possibility my tongue is just burned from drinking hot tea but I'm still curious. I'm not sure if you can get frostbite due to the heat of your mouth wich mealts the food pretty fast.

if you drank the tea and ate the fruit together it might just be cracked from the rapid change in temperature or you could have numbed your tongue and did't realize how hot the tea was or yea maybe just a bit of frostbite i don't know

Frostbite and heat causes the same effect, which is the damage of the tissue. But it heals over time because the human body is cool like that.

Thanks, yeah I'm sure it will heal. Especially the mouth heals really fast. But I was curious if my eating habits caused my tongue a hard time lol.

frozen fruits are yummi so dont stop eating them! i think that you will get used to the feeling
