Well, "curvy" is more about the structure of your body. My definition (and many other people's) of curvy is a girl with either an hourglass or pear shaped body. You can have a 5'6, 150lb girl next to another 5'6, 150lb girl and they can look completely different. One might have a big stomach, with skinny legs (I don't consider this curvy), while the other could have a slim waist, big butt/hips and thick thighs (my definition of curvy.) There are even women who are curvy and "fat", because their waist to hip ratio is still low (even though they have a big stomach, their lower body is still much larger.) With this being said, I'll tell you what I think about each photo.
1. I consider her curvy, since she has a low waist-to-hip ratio.
2. I don't consider her curvy or "fat", I would say she's slightly overweight with some chub factor.
3. She is borderline "fat" in my opinion.
4. Ok, she's quite "fat", but not what I consider obese though. She's just mediocre overweight.
Fat is more than 10 lbs overweight, and before that it's "chubby". But I would never date someone who was even 1 lb overweight. I used to be fat as a kid, and now that I'm in shape I could never be with someone who isn't changing the fact that they are unhealthy. Call it what you will, but the human body isn't meant for a sedentary lifestyle, and being overweight in any way is bad for you period.
Fat isn't necessarily how many pounds you are overweight, it's about your body fat percentage. There are many professional athletes who show up overweight on a BMI scale but have an extremely low body fat percentage. Of course, if you're 100-200lbs overweight, your body fat percentage is going to be high.
And I hate to burst your bubble but there are many healthy overweight people and many unhealthy thin people. It also doesn't mean you have a sedentary lifestyle either.
I'd advise you to consult and doctor and go educate yourself.
And I hate to burst your bursting of my bubble, but how many professional athletes are there? You really think the in incredible shape to fat ratio is that close to have to take that into account for the average person? You can look at someone and know the difference immediately, and anyone who is over the BMI suggested weight range from that specific thing is going to be very well aware that it's from lifting weights, not lifting bags of chips. How about before you start beating your chest over minute exceptions, you learn a thing or two about probability.
I'd advise you to consult that part of your brain responsible for common sense and tell it that 35% of adults in first world countries are overweight, and 67% of children in first world countries are overweight. And maybe 0.1% of those cases it's because they're in such good shape, instead of just being fat.
firstly, i love that u showed images rather than saying 160lbs and above for example.
anyway, it's kinda sad how guys think certain images of women are 'too fat' when a lot of them also end up being overweight at some point in their lives. but whatever, i think 1&2 r fine, 3&4 indicate health problems
A lot of people, guys and girls, are extremely shallow, which I was expecting. But a lot of these answers have really surprised me
I only think people are fat once they're overweight for their height, maybe like 40-50lbs over their healthy weight range. I try not to throw the word fat around unless it's really obvious that someone is overweight, I would never call someone fat just because they're 20-30lbs over a healthy weight range.
They're all a bit overweight. But I wouldn't normally say weight is the determining factor, but rather the body fat percentage and where the person carries weight. Someone can be above average weight but not "fat," whereas an average weight person could look more "fat."
@sobg71124 hmm, I didn't know that but okay, plus sized model.
She does have a curvy build, though her weight would place her in the "overweight" range. I would not personally say she is "fat" though, because she has a waist and her body is proportional
@sobg71124 she is about the average American woman's size, so I guess that's a good thing for you. And I bet an attractive face would do these headless pics some justice aha
This is one of my favorite photos of her. Yes, the models I like are all in the average size range. I have had several girlfriends that were size 12, and that's probably my greatest preferences, so long as she isn't too short or tall. When I hear "plus size" I think of my neighbors, who are, well, PLUS sized!

Yeah, so she looks about size 12, but healthy. When I say fat, I imply unhealthy. And she has a pretty face, so she looks quite nice @sobg71124
I believe all of these are overweight. None is actually curvy... For me curvy is something like this www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/.../...curvy-kate.jpg
The girl in the photo you posted is not curvy at all in my opinion. She's just thin with medium boobs.
With the original question, the first girl is curvy.

I'm smaller than number 3 and I love how people say health problems straight away. My doctor told me I've none whatsoever and I'm healthier than most of his patients as I don't drink much and I don't smoke at all. I eat fairly healthy and walk everywhere. He said if I went power walking the weight would come off straight away but he isn't going to advise me going to a gym because he doesn't believe in them. He's a skinny dude. It's not always weight that indicate health problems.
Yeah my doctor told me he has had countless unhealthy patients who were thin and on the contrary, has overweight patients who are healthy. My mom is a nurse and told me the same thing about many of her patients.
But hey, why listen to the medical experts? I mean certainly the high school dropouts of GAG know more, right?
Definitely. Their expertise in areas they have no clue about make it so convincing. Why listen to the experts when we have these on GAG?
The first one looks okay but the three others are too fat.
The woman in the second picture is definitely overweight and should consider doing sports and get in better shape (shouldn’t be too hard since she is not that fat).
But the last two are very fat and obese and 99% of men will find there bodies unattractive. They should consider losing weight which will take time and will be hard for them but that’s the only solution.
Otherwise they will lead a very unhealthy lifestyle and will be unattractive and also it will affect them mentally
I don't find any of these attractive, they're all too big. Curvy to me means an hourglass figure like Kim Kardashian or Beyonce, it doesn't mean chubby.
The last two would certainly be advised by their doctors to lose weight for health reasons, so I'd say those two.
I want to talk to you but I don't have enough Xper to start the conversation. Kindly start the conversation by sending me a message.
The third is chubby, fat is somewhere between the third and the fourth. Fourth is obese.
When a BMI becomes 25, you arrive at the limiting zone. Whether you are then "fat", depends on your muscle/fat ratio
Correct. My doctor doesn't even use BMI scales and he only measure body fat percentage.
The first one, I believe, is model Candice Huffine - who is literally perfect! The second one is a bit sloppy, and it goes way downhill from there.
They are all overweight and yes 'fat'. Curvy is more about having boobs and hips/ass not mainly about having more fat. I prefer to see healthy woman and men :)
Well, curvy girls are still more likely to have fat than a thin girl, since they DO have boobs, butt, hips, thighs, etc but they still look good.
Sure, but there are thin girls who have boobs and a butt, you got normal girls with curves , chubbier girls who got curves and then fat girls who always have boobs and butts because their overal physique contains fat. None of the girls in the picture's are healthy, the first one might be debatable but she is nonethless clearly overweight.
It's funny that you say non of them are healthy. I don't remember you having access to all of their medical records
I honestly think that curvy is only for the first picture. The other threes are definitely not categorized as curvy in my book
The last two would be fat for me. Probably the second option too, but she seems to have a little muscle tone so that's okay
When it starts to look bad and became a health concern probably around pictures 3# and 4#.
I think the first pic has a nice body.
Pic 2 isn't very toned and 3 n 4 are getting on the too overweight side.
picture 3 is too fat. That is where the point is overstepped as there is evidently a roll of fat over the top of the pants
1. It's clearly overweight and people seem to like ignoring the fact that being overweight is unhealthy.
all of these women are fat
an ideal BMI for a woman is 19-20
The first is only one that could be considered not fat.
Not more then pic 1. Also fatty is not attractive, neither is skinny, only muscular and fit is SEXY.
All are too fat. And I refuse to say "curvy" as a synonym, in these cases they are clearly just fat.
Can we stop asking questions about fat people? jeez. My self esteem is just declining. And the last two are definitely when it crosses the line, so.
Not intended to ruin your self esteem. Everyone has a different definition of what is "fat" and this is what I wanted to know. The answers so far have surprised me
Alright... thank you...
2 is too fat
1 is too big. I don't do plus size very well.
About the first i doubt but all the others should loose some weight i think
the 1st one is really cute, but 2 and 3 have ugly skin and 4 is too fat.
I think 1 and 2 are fine, but the rest are too big for my taste.
Man, guys are always complaining about being alone, or girls being superficial bitches, and yet they call all these women too fat and unattractive.
It is interesting how that works Huh haha
1 2 and 3 are attractive. 4 would be attractive is she had a pear shape.
1st one is curvy and attractive. The rest are overweight in my opinion.
To me, all of those ladies are very attractive. These women are not fat enough to have health issues, and some aren't even fat at all.
I find all of them to be attractive.
They all are overweight.
But being overweight doesn't necessarily mean you're "fat" either. Muscle, frame size and bone structure can cause you to show up "overweight" on a BMI scale and your body fat percentage might not be too bad.
@cincinnatiredsfan I didn't say anything about bmi
1 is borderline fat
2&3 are fat
4 is obese
Number four is far from obese. She's overweight for sure but obese is more like 40-45% body fat, which I doubt her body fat is that high.
@cincinattiredsfan if that is not obese, I don't know what is.
@CincinnatiRedsfan
@PT1911 Well, did you measure her body fat percentage? I'm just curious. You seem to know a lot. The girl in the photo below is obese.
fap.to/.../Plump-Princess-Rolls-7.jpg
number one is even fat for me.
1 is fat 2 and up is too fat.
All of these women are too fat.
Tbh, they're all to heavy for me.
Nbd, that's why I asked
Everyone has a different opinion on that, which is exactly why I asked, so yeah. No need to explain! Your opinion is completely justified. Haha
3 or 4 is a fat I think. They seem unhealthy.
1 and 2 average
3 and 4 tooo fat
Between 2-3 is fat id say
it's all in preference
The second, third and fourth are all fat to me.
the first one is not fat.. just curvy
they all hav sum fat... :-/ xxx
In opinion 1 is ok but remaining are may be fat
I think the last two would be considered fat.
2 is the line, that and over is fat.
The 3 &4 are to me fat.
Everything here is FAT!
Too far when they got more than 20 % body fat
I think they are all too big
1 is not fat.
All of them are fat.
Even the first one? You have a distorted definition of "fat."
i'd bone all 4
