Well yeah, because you're sweating and with shoes on, there's no air getting to your feet. So the socks are going to stink. You should smell my hockey bag. It's probably worse.

  That's right, we wear skates with thick socks, and sometimes another pair of socks under those socks. So it all stinks.

depends to shoe... if it ventilated and have air mesh... it will not stink... im marathon runner... my socks smell normal... just wet...
