My feet always get smelly after using any sneakers during the whole day like 9 hours straight, I wash my feet in the shower, rotate shoes and clean socks always, Im also careful that my feet get dry before putting on my socks, but at the end of the day they stink, I have heard there’s people who’s feet don’t stink because they don’t tend to sweat that much and can wear the same pair of socks for days and don’t rotate shoes and they feet don’t stink but it’s this true? Am I cursed with bad genetics? Or everyone feet smell with sneakers after using them for the whole day?

Scrub your feet with a washcloth or brush when washing to remove dead skin, make sure your shoes dry out on the inside before wearing them again. Have 2 pairs of the same shoes and alternate every day. Scrub the excess dead skin off your feet and then wipe them or soak with vinegar once a week. I'm wearing a pair of 10 year old Red Wing work boots right now as we speak, and they don't smell bad at all because I let the insides dry out before wearing them again. Having shoes made of leather or cloth helps a lot. Waterproof shoes and shoes with the upper part (not the sole) made of vinyl, plastic, rubber, or fake leather retain moisture and don't dry out fast and start to smell from mold, mildew, fungus, etc.
Also change your socks halfway through the day if your feet sweat a lot.
I do all of this except the vinegar thing and still smell, the only thing that help reduce the smell is talcum powder I also alternate not 2 but 4 shoes
Do you live somewhere really humid or cold? Are your shoes drying out on the inside?
Nope. I would never allow that to happen.
What are your tips? Right now I’m using talcum powder and is helping a lot
Get regular pedicures. The dead skin and callous removed will get rid of all the stink
