I haven't for quite some time. Now I just walk my dog and split logs, stretch a bit, do body weight exercises now and then to see if I still can. I went to a organised football group thing I found on line a little while ago and found out how much my fitness has plummeted I will probably go back next week.
My job search after I graduated had a big negative effect.
Applications trying to improve my skills work out where to put more effort in pass spent ages learning to code, learning to drive, reading a lot on industrys and the recruitment process , this all put exercise and my social, health and psychological well being on hold. That and there is less, to do where I live now and its all further away.
Generally I think your more likely to do something if its convenient.
But it may help me build my network so I could consider football and or gym classes and or sports teams as a more enjoyable element to my job search as well as hopfaly keeping me sane #networking.
I wish Id managed to do more towards employment during and before uni but I didn't and it wouldn't have exactly been easy then ever.00 Reply

+1 y6 days a week, about 2 hours each session. About 12 hours a week, while your average guy watches tv and plays video games after work I'm getting aesthetic.

Do you do cardio or mainly just lifting weights?
- +1 y
Mainly weights. I'll do a much more cardio for a summer cut or prepping for a show.

Dude, holy shit so much training volume. Are you natty? If so, do you take insane-in-the-membrane rest intervals? That doesn't seem sustainable.
- +1 y
@redeyemindtricks ya natty, ya it's a ton of volume! Def doable tho, not easy ofc however lol
- +1 y
Do you at least take a week or two off on the reg? Damn, boy.
Overtraining's a bitch. Keep an eye on that bloodwork. That's almost twice the training volume of any of the natty boys I know. - +1 y
@redeyemindtricks "I don't think overtraining is as much of an issue as under-recovering is"

Yeah, people get addicted, that's for sure.
That's the beauty of it, is, an imperfect training program -- with about 10-20% of weeks spent lying around doing nothing, and about 10-20% of days spent eating (relatively) like shit -- will get better results than a nominally "perfect" program.
Fitness HATES perfectionists, which is probably the single biggest reason why I'm so in love with it.
+1 yIm there Monday-Thusday... sometimes Id go straight 7 days. Im literally there for 4 hours, I do cardio for like 15 mins, then doing a lot of weight training, from lunges, to walk ins, to burpees, squats, deadlifts.. talking about it is making me exhausted lol. I haven't been able to walk properly for 3 days cause I over did the legs hahah! Gotta love leg day!

+1 yTwice a week, about two hours each time. Mostly weights but some cardio for warm-up.
My preferred cardio is bike riding which takes place outside the gym.
I would go to the gym more often but lugging a gym bag on public transit is an ordeal in itself.00 Reply6-7 days a week. First thing in the morning. 1-2 hours depending on how much time I have that day.

Do you mainly do cardio or weightlifting or both?
+1 yAbout four times a week, usually for around two hours at night. I work a few of my favorite machines then spend the majority of my time incline walking on the treadmill.
