Is a dietician worth the money? Or can someone perhaps recommend a website for eating plans and/or recipes?

Trending & News No. For someone with health concerns a dietician may be required. Someone in good shape wanting basic advice makes the job too easy for them.
It depends on how much of a change you want to make to your diet. How picky are you about your food? Are you willing to throw out all junk food? If you can post an example of what you eat in a day I may be able to make some specific suggestions.
Breakfast: French toast or an omelet with 1 serving veg (normally mushrooms) or smoothie: greek yogurt & berries.
Lunch: This is where I struggle most. Since I'm busy this time I either skip it or get something on the run that's normally unhealthy.
Dinner: something in the line of lasagne or couscous and chicken or ostrich steak. Two servings of veg.
Snacks: After my workouts I drink Whey protein. I don't really snack but when I do it's normally almonds or chocolate
I'm a bit of a picky eater regarding vegetables, but I'm learning to eat new things. Definetely willing to throw out junk food. I have no problem cutting it out when I have a eating program that works for me.
I'm afraid that I don't eat enough. I lift weights 3 times a week (like in the free weights section, not 2lb pink dumbbells) and do cardio 2 to 3 times a week - either jogging or spinning for an hour.
I should probably mention this is my first year cooking for myself so I don't really have a repertoire of recipes
Breakfast you can also try oatmeal + fruits. Make sure it's original oatmeal not the processed crap with sugar in it.
Lunch I may consider leftovers from dinner the night before. Just cook some extras for dinner and save it.
Yeah I don't think you are eating enough either from looking at this. If you have an active lifestyle you need to be constantly snacking/having extra mini-meals. You won't gain weight if you eat properly.
Milk has all the nutrients you need. Hard-boiled eggs are also very good. Even if you don't like them you can eat it in two bites... Veges can be substituted with fruits. Or just peel a carrot and eat that. Look up paleo diet.
If your struggling to balance everything I wouldn't add a dietician to it. I don't know many online resources but here's a big guide that could help:

also just do some googling and researching you should find some good advice.
