Easy ways to lose a little bit of weight?

Nobody would call me fat as I am now, people always say Im normal or skinny. However, I put on some weight lately and would like to go back to having the body I always had (when people only said I was skinny instead of normal). This would take about 5 lbs and I dont need to go quick, if it takes 6 months Im happy. I don't want to get hungry and I dont want to eat nothing but carrots. Does anyone have tips or tricks on how to eat slightly less or slightly more healthy while still feeling just as satisfied?
Im a vegetarian by the way.
