Are their side effects? At what age shield one take supplements? Or rather, should you even take supplements?
Personally I like food better than supplements but should I try some.
Eh usually you'll end up with very expensive urine and that's about it. Your body can only progress so fast and most people eat enough protein. Too much could be bad for your liver and kidneys.
As for the other stuff I don't think the effects are big enough to be worth taking... none of it is FDA approved anyways.
tldr supplements are too overrated.
They are "supplements" not food. They should be taken when you can't or aren't able to hit a certain macro in your diet for the day. What are you trying to achieve with these supplements?
I do protein shakes in the morning after a workout when there's not enough time for breakfast [rare].
Otherwise, Id rather eat real food instead of supplements.

Protein shakes are healthy, it's like asking "should I eat chicken?" Lol... I drink them only when I work out and that's probably the primary reason for those. Try it out see if u like it
