Yay!! Good for you! :D
I have a friend who's a nurse who's actually not really that supportive of vitamins lol. He says that for whatever vitamins you lack, your body will make up for it. (Which if you think about it is true otherwise you'd probably just die. Most people don't get the right mix of vitamins). So really you don't need to take them. What's more important is calcium to support your bone growth and strength I think. And stay hydrated. But moving to a healthier diet shouldn't make you have to start taking vitamins.

You need to look more at what's in your food than what food group it belongs to. For instance in a lot of cases resturant salads have more calories than their sandwiches.
Instead of taking vitamins that likely *dont even have vitamins in them since they're not monitored by the FDA*, you're better off eating a balanced diet.
Multivitamins are supplements. If you are getting all the vitamins you need through eating healthy fresh food then you don't need to keep taking the multivitamins.
Red meat should only be eaten 3 times per week with each portion being no larger than your hand.
Don't cut back on fruits and vegetables.
Keep track of how much you eat and how much exercise you're doing. It's all about how much energy you use compared to how much energy (calories) you eat.
You're doing great. Keep at it.
