This cunt of a doctor put me on it for no reason really. I had a bit of shiny skin and he decided that "yep, let's put this young man with no obvious acne on accutane, the most powerful acne-curing, and in some countries illegal, drug to cure it!" No real side effects though, because I DIDN'T have acne. People who actually have acne, severe acne (all over with cysts) might scar after the treatment, but that's inevitable. Check out "Brian turner" on youtube, he's had SEVERE acne and looks super great today after accutane treatment.

i have. and yes it has to be mild-severe.

the side effects are dry lips and sometimes aching... sensitive skin to the sun.. girls have to be on two forms of birth control to get the prescription in the US. having a kid on accutane isn't pretty.

yes it works.. its' the only cure for acne. it mainly shrinks your sebaceous gland.

Yes. Finished it almost a month ago. I was acne free for a few weeks and just recently got one stupid annoying pimple on my cheek. Oh well. At least it's just one and not a shit ton anymore.

As I know accutane is very harsh it has many side effect I suggest you to ask your doc if there's another safe medicine

Oh no, I took it too and it worked it's magic. But... it really screwed with my liver. So I had to stop taking it after 2 months.

Oh yeah, but I was surprised at how quickly it went bad after only 2 months on Accutane.
