Lower back pain?

i am 13 (almost 14 year old) girl who is an athlete. right now im in track season and on Tuesday we did very very steep hills. ever since them i have been having lower back pain (more buttox area) and that travels down my leg. every step i take, i feel this pain. what is this?

i have the same thing from playing tennis. I think it had something to do with bending my back when i serve. now that the tennis season ended it went away and all my pains in the legs and lower pack are gone.

Sounds like something with your sacral and/or tailbone. Try using some heating-pad on it and stretch it. Or a hot bath helps as well. Else its just resting for a bit.

If it's sore, then you're okay and it will probably go away in a few weeks. If it's sharp pain, you should really get it checked out.
