You're totally fine, you're between 120 and 150 so you are healthy! As for eating well and working out I'd say everyone should always do that, it doesn't have to be intense. Just eat nutritious foods if possible and work out like 15 minutes or so at least 4 days a week. This is just to ensure you are strong and healthy.

Whoever told you that is a moron. 135lbs. is a healthy weight for me at 5'3. If anything, I say put on 10lbs, but no, 135 is fine. People are dumb.
