letting fruit soak in water will just allow them to absorb more water over a long period of time.
thats what smoothie places do when they claim to use real fruit, they soak everything in water so that they get more juice out of a single item of fruit and vegetable, which in the long run, saves them money on supply.

My friend does that for flavor not necessarily benefits. Although I don't see h could even get half the benefits from just that and not actual fruit.
I do it for the flavor in the water, only real benefit is that it encourages me to drink more water lol. It doesn't do anything to the fruits themselves to make them better for you.
Fruit contains heaps of natural sugars, water has nothing but water in it.
So, eating the fruits and drinking them with water would have the same effect?
No, water is just over all great for you, it flushes a lot of toxins out of your body.
