Can't urinate in front of others and/or when standing?

I just can't seem to urinate in a urinal especially if others are around me. I must use the stall. And in order to fully empty my bladder I have to bend my legs/knees a little. Can't do it when standing with straight legs. Apparently I'm not the only one who has this problem based on my research. Anyway, if you found out that some guy has this problem would you see him as less of a man? Make fun behind his back?

This is called paruresis and it affects both men and women. It's an anxiety disorder; ie. a type of mental illness. Like any illness, you can't help it. I wouldn't see him as less of a man at all. I'd feel bad for him if I found out because it must be really inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Not at all. It's called pararesis or shy bladder syndrom. I have it too. In fact it's so bad that when I'd get drug tested I'd have to catheterize myself to give a sample. I used to do math in my head and it worked for awhile but no more

Oh man, I am the same, regarding the first part of your question! I just hate urinals where there are no partitions in between. I use the stalls in such cases because I don't want other men looking at my ding dong!

I had to lock the bathroom door with my ex because she always wanted to watch me pee, which is really weird.
