How flexible should a cheer flyer be?

It depends what level you want to cheer at, but the more flexible the better and having as many positions as you can will be an asset. I'll try to write as many positions as I can from easiest to hardest, so just work your way down the list and try to get as many as possible.
1. Heel Stretch
2. Arabesque
3. Scale
4. Free Stretch
5. Scorpion
6. Bow and Arrow
7. Needle
+Chin Chin (but no one really does this, looks weird)

being slim and light is a huge factor also, you'll need to be bendy to be any position cheerleading
