How windy is it too windy to wear a flowy thigh high skirt?

Any time there is wind I wouldn't recommend wearing any kind of skirt. Especially a skirt that short because even if the wind is not that bad you don't know if out of nowhere a gust of wind will happen and completely blow your skirt up

Wear heavy fabric and shorts underneath if it's such a problem. Girls in the past never had problems with this because the fabric was made well and they had a proper length and wore slips underneath.

I think weight of the fabric is more important than length. Something long and weightless is going to get picked up far easier than something short and made out of denim or leather.

For most skirts, I would say 15-20 mph. The one exception is I had this one skirt that was a light material. All you had to do is breathe on it and it went up... lol

I say anything over 15mph. I remember in grade school a girls skirt got blown up and you could see her thong it was one of my friends so I gave her my coat and blocked the view so she could pull it down.

Yes, they're my favorite thing to wear, though it took me awhile to get used to them.

I felt very uncomfortable wearing them at first because I wasn't used to having a lot of my legs exposed, then weather was an issue, but after awhile, I got use to it, except the weather stuff, but thankfully, the wind is only super strong in Winter and Autumn.
