I'm having issues with my period.. Should I see my doctor?

I have Crohns Disease and IBS, both of which are fairly under control most of the month.. But when Aunt Flow arrives, I get the usual cramps and stuff but they are followed by a searing pain in my lower abdomen and I rush to the bathroom. I then have a violent episode of diarrhea and even if I had changed my tampon (supers) an hour prior, it is soaked and has to be changed. After a few more rounds of that hell, I can practically feel my colon and sudden movement is incredibly painful. I researched a little and the same chemicals that cause menstrual cramps cause diarrhea so that's just fantastic 😞 Any advice?

I had servere pain in my rectum at 25years of age and servere pain in my pelvic area to some back pain etc, i was not far off from having cervical cancer which if i had of left for a bit longer it would have been a stage 2 cancer and i also had servere bleeding with with it and doing pees and poos hurt to. I am fine now so please get it checked out i left myself in pain for months before seeing the doctor about it

Please see your gynecologist ASAP. This sounds serious and could potentially cause damagd to you which isn't good.
A period shouldn't be that bad. I used to have horrible ones to what my doctors think is PCOS. It should be some uncomfortable cramping, hormonal stuff and bleeding, nothing that makes your quality of life worse
