Are there any products which help minimize scars?

Bio oil is recommended but doesn't work. I've had plastic surgery which left a scar, the advice from a plastic surgeon who earns a living dealing with aesthetics was to use silicone gel to minimize scarring, namely Dermatix.

Supplementing with Great Lakes Collagen (green tin) for a few months may help but it may take longer.

I reduced some scarring with bio oil and silicone gel, and so did a few of my family members and friends. The silicone gel, by brand name of Dermatix I think, worked wonders.

I'm trying out coffee scrub. APPARENTLY it helps with that and stretch marks. ill let u know in a month :P
BUT let me tell you, it makes my skin feel IMMACULATE omg.

This stuff called kelo-cote. It's for surgical scars but I use it for stretch marks, and I reckon it'd work for other kinds of scars too
