Do you have to be a certain age to buy a bikini area wax set?

I am 15 and i was wondering if you would have to be a certain age to buy a bikini area wax set because I heard you have to be at least 16 with parent permission to get your bikini area waxed. So I was wondering if there was an age restriction on buying the wax set at a store

Moms are gna be all over the map on this one... but, first, talk to her about why you want to do this in the first place. (Teasing at pool parties?)

If it's an issue of yr confidence in yr own body, yr mom will probably be more open to the idea than you might think -- from the tone of this post, it sounds like yr thinking of going behind her back right now. Hopefully you don't have to do that.

You can also point out -- especially if yr family has a history of thick coarse dark hair growth -- that waxing will help keep the hair growth manageable, as compared to shaving (which will encourage it to come back darker, thicker, and more fierce and savage).
And you and yr mom can have a girls day! <3

Nooooo... It's wax. They only things stores stop you from buying are cigarettes and alcohol.

That being said, you really should start out seeing a professional first. Waxing always hurts the first few times and you don't want to make any mistakes in that area.

Depends on where you're getting it from... fucking speicfy next time please. No one here knows the laws for Nigeria or in Iceland.

As for Canada, I'm under the impression that it's any age, but most places require a parent or guardian to accompany you on your wax treatment.

I don't believe there is an age restriction on that type of item. I would be careful waxing yourself in that area, though. You might want to go to a professional first.

Wax sets that you'd do yourself shouldn't have an age limit.

Going to a salon they probably will though. Have to be careful with working on minors.

Not as far as I know. But I'd say you should get a pro to do it. I did it to just my bikini area once and it was really uncomfortable, a professional probably could've made it a little less painful.
