Should I tell him I got mouthherpes from the sun?

I had my kissed the guy I like for the first time yesterday. And when I got home I realised that what I thought was a pimple just on the beginning of my lip or what you say, is actually mouthherpes. Should I tell him or wait to see if he gets it too and then tell him?

Look, my mom had the virus and drank from my water bottle when we were at a vacation somewhat years ago, so I got it. It can come back from sun exposure. Jeez

You can't get herpes from the sun. Someone probably had a cold sore starting and gave it to you without you realizing. Herpes is a virus. Viruses are not contracted from sun exposure.

I thought people would understand that I got it from someone who had a cold sore years ago and that it came back thanks to sun exposure. Guess not.

No, i got it several years ago and I haven't had it since. But it can resurface thanks to sun exposure so I got it now. Believe what you want

No, herpes doesn't reappear from the sun... the virus is always in your body and it reactivates during stressful periods and when immunity is lowered... Sun has nothing to do with it. o. O

No I'm not asking if I should tell him that. I'm asking if I should tell him at all because it isn't 100% sure that he will even get it. Especially since the outbreak was at such an early stage. So I'm just asking if I should tell him at all, thats all :)
