Do You Pop Your Zits?

I know, I know, you aren't supposed to because it'll leave scars, blah blah, but sometimes you just can't control the urge to pop the demon that is residing on your face. It doesn't even pay you rent! So, do you pop your zits and/or pimples?

I use these special tools to pop my white heads and remove black heads. I forget what they're called but when I use rubbing alcohol and those tools, I don't get the burning redness or a new pimple afterward. The swelling just goes away and the wound heals. You should look into them. There are Youtube videos where you can watch people do it. It pushes out all the white gunk out from under you skin so you don't get a new pimple or an infection.

I bought a kit off Amazon. It has 6-7 tools in it but I really only use one. It didn't cost too much and they're really good quality.

acne has ruined my life! I have a pretty face but this acne ruins it for me. I always pop my zits :-( while it is satisfying but at the same time Im scarring myself.

Mine don't scar when I pop them and I'm very thankful for that. I think acne is pretty in its own way. Don't let it ruin your life. You can still be really pretty with acne and its scars. :)

I hate leaving them. I hate having a white pimple, I burst hat bastard, let the bad stuff come out and then cleanse it.

It's partly your age Hun. When I was like 13 they were huge and bad and horrible, but now they are quite small and it's just a case of get rid of the yucky bit and clean it

I do get big ones. Some of them are so bad that I have to go to the doctor and get pills and creams. I had to get knocked out and have one drained on my side once. Fortunately, no matter how bad they get, I never get any scars.(Other than the one that had to be cut open) I know people will say not to pop them and then they won't get infected, but it's usually only the ones I DON'T pop that become bad. Anyways, I always clean my face and I have multiple face cleansers. Sorry about the long answer. 😆

People say all sorts of bullshit. I've been a firm believer in pop and cleanse and you can see from my face other than 2 scars on my forehead in the middle which are chicken pox I have no scars.

Yeah. I prefer popping them, but I make sure I wash my hands and stuff first. I don't do it for beauty it just feels better. 😃

All the time! Most of the time it makes them look better and heal faster. But then there are those that get really bad when you mess with them. I already know which ones I shouldn't mess with.

But I didn't pop what I call my 'highlighter pimple' because I get the exact type of red, long surviving pimple EVERY time I wear highlighter.

I actually try to burn them off. I put a ton of stuff on it overnight. And by the morning, it's mostly burned off and I can just peel off the dead skin

Nope. No scars. Once the dead skin peels off, it's smooth. Never had a problem with it. It's a Korean brand. Let me go find it. I forgot the name.
