Squat increases hips size?

i have been doing squats for last 2 months. i wanna know if it only tone up the hip or increase the size?

Uh no your hip size is determined by your bone structure which in turn is determined by your genetics, you can squat till the cows come home if you want to, but your hip size will never change, ever.

And you can not target the fat on your hips by squatting, fat spot reduction is impossible, when you squat, bench press or really do any kind of exercise your body will lose fat all over the entire body, meaning everywhere. Squatting will not specifically reduce fat around the hips it will just help you lose fat all around your entire body.

It's only adding muscle to your gluts really so it wouldn't really have an effect on your hips. Maybe gives more of an illusion to hip size but wouldn't directl effect them

You can't change your hip width, that is determined by your pelvic structure and nothing short of surgery will change that. Doing weighted squats and hip abductions will increase the muscle mass around your hips and thighs. You can also get the illusion of wider hips by losing fat around your waist.

Nope. Hips are made out of bones and you can change bone structure only with plastic surgery. Squats simply burn fat.

It shouldn't. Your hips should really be determined by where the bone is. Squats will help tone your legs and ass, and they'll tone your core, so lots of good reasons to do them.

Yes it does. Wide hips are great for childbirth. So it is a great thing. Also, a more toned ass and legs. Do squats.
