What type of Heart Problem is this?

My friend has a heart problem; his body basically can't create it's own energy so his doctor told him he has to drink lots of water and eat lots of food. If he doesn't he could possibly die or end up hospitalized. He tends to drink monster energy drinks as well for energy. And whenever he's not home right away after school his mom gets worried about him. I want to know what he has is called.

This sounds a little like Heart Failure, but then again, the symptoms and remedies you list are very vague and apply to many situations involving the heart and other disorders. Most doctors are going to recommend drinking water frequently and eating healthy.

Do you have any more specific info like other symptoms your friend routinely experiences?

He gets tired often, and you can see the tiredness in his face

I hate to be a broken record, but fatigue is common of a lot of heart conditions usually because the heart is in distress or having trouble pumping enough oxygenated blood throughout the system. Since they are your friend, why not just ask him/her what condition they have?

Does he have a hesrt problem due to an endocrine issue? Or is his hesrt failing, thus giving him no energy?

Usually energy drinks are bad for hearts, so I would assume your friend has a very weak heart, Bradycardia. And a slow pulse, drinking the monster would bring it up to normal. I have a tachycardia (fast heart) so monster could give me a heart attack.

Doesn't sound like a heart problem it sounds more like a his body isn't producing a proper amount of apt but I'm not a doctor
