Wearing only suncream to heal acne scars, is this right?

I have been told to only use sunscreen and not to use like nivea face cream or aleo Vera as it absorbs the scar further is this right?

And is the suncream meant to like dry out your skin in time as I get flakeyNess as I believe dead skin is removing itself.

Ehh, not true about face creams and aloe vera. Do use sunscreen though, not for the reason you said but because it will keep your marks from darkening further and help them fade faster. There might be too much alcohol in the sunscreen you're currently using, which causes the dryness. That's not good for your skin. As good as exfoliating is to get rid of dead skin cells, you also need to moisturize your skin and rejuvenate it so that it can restore faster, leaving you with new skin cells to replace those dead skin cells you just got rid of.
