Pain in right groin and surrounding areas. What is it?

I'm a 17 year old male, not sexually active. About a week ago I noticed a pain in my right groin. My first thought was that it was a testicular torsion, but the symptoms don't really align with that condition.

The pain is a dull ache, and I do not think it's actually emanating from the testicles but rather a muscle in that region, as the pain is actually in the pelvic region and leg joint. The pain is very mild but can be annoying, and I've noticed that it worsens when I am seated or I raise my leg. It also travels down my leg and into various other surrounding areas. It started when I was out with my family. We went to a national park and stood on a granite outcrop which required having to traverse down a small path of loose gravel. I think I may have pulled a muscle getting down to the rock.

Once again, the symptoms don't really point to a torsion. I'm not feeling ill or vomiting, nor am I experiencing unbearable and sudden pain. Everything down there looks and feels right, and I'm fairly certain I'd know if I had busted a nut. I currently think it's either a groin pull or some other muscle related injury.

What do you guys think?
