Nope, and I've never needed them! I'm thankful for straight teeth. Even though a relative had to forcefully yank a tooth out because one was growing behind it, it's still worth it. I would have had crooked teeth if she didn't do that for me.

With that said, my teeth aren't perfect... I need two crowns for two different molars, and I'm sure I have a few cavities. My mother always let me eat whatever I wanted, so I didn't know the consequences of consuming lots of sugar. In the past, I'd only brush my teeth if I had to leave the house (for the sake of having good breath). So... That means I'd only brush my teeth a few times throughout the entire summer. Gross.

I didn't see a dentist until I was 18. I wouldn't have seen one then if it had not been for me biting holes in the inside of my mouth from my wisdom teeth coming in wrong. I had all of my wisdom teeth removed but luck was on my side I had perfect teeth no cavities and never needed braces.

No, I never wore them. My bottom incisors are a little crooked and I have a slight over bite but they masticate just fine and people tend to tell me have have a nice smile/teeth... Getting Calculus easily was great in college, but not so great when I visit the dentist...

Yes, I wore them for around 3 years in my late twenties.

It's really good that wearing them now has nothing to do with age. I know some 20s 30s guys who wore them and had no issues of confidence or so.

Yes. I had them when I was 14 or 15 and had them removed when I was 18. I was pretty self-conscious during those years. Soon after they were removed, I experienced my first kiss.

I voted adult but I was technically teen. Had them from age 17-18 but took them off early for prom. I wish I waited til graduation but oh well dentists say I have good healthy teeth but I feel like they say it to everyone

Yup, from 11-13/14, most horrible time of my life. It looked terrible and kept scratching open my gums so it was painful too T_T
