No, but I had several classmates that had Polio. It was a terrible disease. These kids had to wear an ugly brace.

Technically, no. If you mean like leg braces because of something like polio or some thing where you want to fix someone's walking...

But I have had braces, and headgear, which is sort of a brace, just smaller, more normalized scale.

I have had a lot of casts over the years (It's sort of a brace) because I was always breaking bones.

I had to wear what I called "A robocop boot" for a long time that you could attach or take off (for showers, etc). You could pump it up to give better cushioning and protection, or down if there was too much pressure/pain.

And I have worn braces because I was in scouts, where we were learning emergency first aid (sort of splints), and we'd learn with a group. But nothing emergency medical.

Did you ever try putting a rubber band around your fingers and pushing your fingers outward? I guess it works! It works the muscles the opposite way and can help lessen the symptoms a lot! I had an aunt and uncle that actually avoided having surgery by doing that. It wasn’t the doctors that told them about it either, it was a chiropractor.

@Wallythewalrus2 Well, it's a tendon issue, not a muscle one, but I AM working on some things to avoid having to have surgery. It doesn't look good, though.
