Skinny dipping with another guy who's not your boyfriend?

OK, I'm going to avoid details and keep this simple.

I have a long distance boyfriend.

My neighbor is a friend of mine who is my age. He has a girlfriend.

We were talking super late last night (the neighbor and I) and we decided it might be fun to go skinny dipping this summer in his pool.

I woke up this morning and had a thought, if I went skinny dipping with my friend all by ourselves, would it be considered cheating in a way? My neighbor's girlfriend is going to be in Europe for a month in the summer and he was like "it'll be our little secret."

What do you guys think? Is it ok or not?

OK, to make this clear, there is no making out, or touching, or whatever. It's just swimming (at a 6 ft radius).

OK, I understand now that it's now cheating. Blame my upbringing in Europe. I went to nude beaches with friends all the time before I moved here. My definitions of cheating has expanded. So thank you for your comments.

well the fact that he said "it'll be our little secret" makes it kinda creepy. I think you need to put yourself in your boyfriends shoes. How would you feel if he went skinny dipping with the new girl who moved in next door to him? If you seem to be ok with all this maybe you don't care about your boyfriend as much as you think you do. The good thing is that you feel guilty. You feel like you did something wrong. The only thing you need to worry about now is would you do it again?

What he said is what really made me start questioning what was really going on. I was creeped out too, even though he's a good friend of mine. I don't know. It felt really off and strange. And you're right about putting myself in his shoes. I would be mad. But fortunately I haven't done it, and I never will with my neighbor. It will forever be a stupid 1 am idea exchanged between friends.

Just ask yourself, would it be ok if your boyfriend went skinny dippin with some of his female friends? If you say no, you answered yourself as to if it was ok...Just a matter of respect for someone you care for...

Yea I'm gonna have to say that is cheating, I know that I would not tolerate that kind of behavior from anyone I was dating. You should re-assess who you are and your relationship with your boyfriend if you would even think that this type of idea would be ok.

Thank you for clearing it up for me. my defintion of cheating was different before now. I really didn't know if I wanted to do it or not this morning.. I was unsure because I have a very European view of the body (lived in Europe for a while. Nude beaches). But now I know and I don't want to do it and hurt my boyfriend. So thank you again! :)

As far as the European nude beach view goes.. I can see why you'd think it was okay now that I think about it. but if your boyfriend dosen't know or isn't okay with it, then its cheating.

or if ur doing it ALONE with ur NEIGHBOUR in his pool! while ur both in

relationships and ur partners are far away and don't know anything about!
