Would you date a skinny guy (and if you're skinny too - skinnier than you) if you knew he would not think you're less attractive because you're not as skinny as him?

Why would dating a skinnier guy make a girl insecure in the first place? Is it just a personal thing? Can it also be a how people would view it thing?
Do you think a large percentage of girls could find a skinny guy attractive, but wouldn't have a romantic or a sexual relationship with him becuase he's skinny?

I would date a skinnier guy than me. In my opinion it doesn't really matter if he's really skinny. Just as long as he's working out lol. For most girls they feel insecure about their weight which is why they want to be the one that weigh less in the relationship. As ridiculous as it sounds yes some people may even begin to gossip which is a bunch of nonsense, but saddly it happens. a lot of girls do find skinny guys attractive they just don't know how to go about it.

Personally I prefer skinny guys. They are more attractive in my opinion. A lot of girls I know wouldn't want to date a skinny guys, but I totally would.

From my perspective, I would definitely date a skinny guy. However, I would feel a little insecure if I'm fatter then him haha

I love slender guys, but when they're thinner than me, I'm AUTOMATICALLY fat, sitting next to him. He can't legitimately compliment me on being slender.

I know girls try to usually find someone that fits their frame so to speak. (Not all of them but i see most) but using this logic has helped me finding women easier

I prefer skinny guys to muscular guys. I'm hardly skinny, like dude, my ass and thighs are so thick and my hips are so big, most guys are going to look thinner than me. The guy I'm with is much skinnier than I am and he's really attractive to me.

Ok I know I might get a lot of guys who don't believe me but here it comes. I find tall skinny looking guys more attractive that the buff guys. A little muscle around the arms is a plus.

Based on what I guess is more likely you meant, I think you're wrong, at least if you mean it as a rule that every time a guy would ask something similar would mean he is insecure. I feel like what you described in the second sentence of your reply.
If a person who makes a living from being the owner of a restaurant was confident about the meals in the restaurant, and the success of the restaurant would rely on people liking those meals, there would still be a need to know if people like them.
