Did you ever try Oxycontin? How was that experience?

Oxycontin? Why on earth are you curious about oxycontin lol? Sorry, but no, I've never had oxycontin. The only opioids/opiates I recall ever being given are tramadol, codeine, and morphine. From what I understand, oxycodone is similar to morphine but less sedating. I sincerely hope you're not considering oxycontin to get high. That's some pretty strong stuff. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you were looking for.

I was just asking it out of curiosity because I didn't know it was that bad. My ex is addicted to it so I curious to know if it was heavy stuff.

Ah, I see. Yes, oxycontin is very addictive and strong stuff. Once a person gets hooked on opioids like oxycontin, they're hooked for life. The "rush" from oxy will far outweigh anything else to the point where all they care about is getting more. On top of that, mixing oxy with alcohol is an almost guaranteed overdose. Not many people manage to walk away from opioid addiction alive.

It's generally like any other opioid pain killer... If you've taken Hydrocodone, it's similar to that.

After reading the other comments I see your boyfriend is addicted to it... If abused it's like the commercial version of heroin abuse... There are tons of pain clinics with shady doctors that are slinging it just the same.

My ex was an addict, he contacted me a month ago saying he relapsed. I was asking because I didn't know it was that strong.
I never tried anything that's why I'm pretty dumb about it

Never have and never will. That's what took my friends life. He liked it so much and kept taking it... one morning he never woke up. He was only 26.

Wow did he overdose?

Yes he did. He got addicted from "the rush." I guess he text me before going to sleep asking me to take him to get his car in the morning. Had to call the cops to open his door and found him on the couch.

Everyone may have different reactions to it, but not something I recommend. Not just because of him but I've seen people on oxy and they just act stupid as hell and not even coherent to things going on.

Do you think there's a relation between acting stupid and being on it? I'm asking this because my ex was addicted to it and he was a bastard to me... He was extremely disrespectful, screamed at me many times and put the blame on me all the time

That's a huge possibility. I've seen people completely chill but like overly cool in that "whatever you want" kind of mood. They know you're saying stuff to them but not comprehending a word of it. I've seen others just completely let loose and go off on people for no reason or get real emotional and cry. It's like someone drunk but on a totally different level.
