Depending on how often you used to do it Your body could be going through a type of withdrawal. Mothers who breast feed, when they stop their breasts will hurt because there is too much milk in there and nothing is draining it. Try next time to come off of it slowly, say if you did it once a day, then for a while try once every two, the, after a while 1 every 3 etc.

Not necessarily. Once you have gone long enough it will stop hurting because your body will grow used to it. Now i don't know what the epidydimus is, but if it hurts past say another week or 2 go to the doctor because something may be actually wrong

Maybe your epidydimus or sexually transmitted bacterial infection has returned? If it were me I think I would see a urologist to get a specialists opinion.
