All the good stuff (which is actually bad in excess)
your opinions matter, what do you think? \m/ peace out!
I kind of agree with CJ in that I don't feel guilty for the things I do. If I felt guilty or bad about something, I wouldn't do it in the first place. A 'vice' in this context, from the dictionary, means:
1. an immoral or evil habit or practice.
2. immoral conduct; depraved or degrading behavior: a life of vice.
3. sexual immorality, esp. prostitution.
4. a particular form of depravity.
Something being 'immoral' or 'bad' suggests that someone feels guilty about doing it, and that they also probably hold everyone else to the same standards they hold themselves to. Or that other people persecute them for doing something those people find 'immoral', and the person being persecuted for some reason cares what they think even if they don't consider their own behavior bad. Which is silly because what one person considers 'immoral' may not be immoral to someone else. Morals are completely relative. I don't feel badly about anything I do, because I don't feel that the things I do are 'bad' to begin with. If my standards of 'bad' behavior were the same as most other peoples' standards, I would probably be a 'bad person', haha.
But here are some things I do that some other people might feel bad about or consider vices:
I smoke like a chimney.
I use drugs recreationally. I've tried almost anything you could think of at least once in the last 5 years.
I drink to get drunk, and while never out of control, I rarely pace myself until after I hit the 'drunk' mark.
I've had plenty of casual sex.
I drink more coffee all day, every day, than anyone I know.
I drive while under the influence of marijuana.
I've transported large quantities of marijuana.
I, too, snack a lot at night.
I keep odd hours and rarely have a set schedule. I'm a night owl.
I'm unpredicable, impulsive, spontaneous, inconsistant, and whatever other synonymous adjectives you can think of.
I tend not to care or react when others think negatively of me, particularly if they're not someone whose opinion I consider important.
I used to shoplift heavily from big chain stores, and will still occasionally snag a small item or two.
On the other hand, I do have 'morals' that are important to me:
I don't touch a drug or put any kind of intoxicant into my body unless I've done some hefty research about it first. I'm not one of those people who will pop anything someone hands them. Despite popular belief, there IS a safer and more responsible way to enjoy drugs.
I've been black-out drunk once, and never let it happen again after that.
I don't have sex unprotected.
I will not cheat, knowingly participate in cheating by being the 'other woman', go after a friend's interest, or upset any balance of loyalty in any way
Most of the food I consume, including late night snacks, is very healthy.
I NEVER shoplift from small or locally owned stores, or from friends or individual people.
I'm always seeking to learn and understand. Knowledge is power.
I ALWAYS pay people back, even if it takes me forever to do it.
Jagermeister
I smoke way too much
I have a majorly sweet tooth - particular weakness is milkshakes, cadbury's caramel and turkish delight.
Tendency to drink too much too quickly..
Have a bit too much of a liking for champagne, pass the piper heidsieck please..
Been told I'm quite agressive at times.
Play contact sports (shock horror a girl who plays rugby and does judo! BURN THE WITCH!)
Snacking last thing at night on strong cheese...mmm cheese dreams..
Did used to have a bad coke habit, but kicked that sh-te into touch thankfully after one very nasty experience.
Major vice is a massive fry up on the weekends with the other half..for any of my state side friends who don't know or haven't experienced the great British fry up, it involves the following. Fried eggs, sausages, black pudding (sausage made with blood instead of meat, don't knock it till you've tried it), fried bread, baked beans, fried tomato, toast and marmite, fried mushrooms, gallons of strong tea, loads of bacon and potato waffles. LUSH!
*jager&dosequis.
*men.
*tuna in olive oil. yes, straight from the can.
*chocolate.
and also, I'm uber OCD. so there's a bunch of "Vices" that I have that wouldn't necessarily fit right under your regular definition of 'vice' but they can annoy people, or are just useless or time consuming. like I fix crap compulsively or find symmetries or patterns in stuff around me and HAVE TO MAKE IT CONTINUE.
Well you mentioned one of my vices, I'm apathetic to a lot of things and hold the world to the same standards that I hold myself to. Other than that, I can be short fused sometimes with a limit to my patience, I can be secretly arrogant to myself sometimes when someone shows that they are average, if I find a certain situation to be useless I will sometimes only try to get what I need out of it and then leave it. One vice that only really concerns myself is the fact that sometimes I have amazing thoughts or opinions on things, but I sometimes have trouble putting them into words. I can't find the words to get them across to other people where they can understand what I feel.
I drink a little to much sometimes (most of the time I control myself no problem), besides playing sports often, I don't work out. Netflix has become a vice recently. I used to smoke, but quit cold turkey.
My largest vice is dipping tobacco (not chewing tobacco- there is a difference). I love Grizzly-- I switch between mint, straight, and wintergreen every few weeks. Its absolutely disgusting, so I try to hide it from girls (I never dip in front of them). I dip about a can every 2 days-- sometimes less, sometimes a lot more. I went through an entire 8 1/2 month relationship without her knowing

Probably rum. Though I rarely drink, I do find myself attached to that given the opportunity. I also have a bad habit of eating too many burgers. Though I run a lot, I still think it's unhealthy.
I feel the same way, I can't resist the supersize... so hard to resist the good stuff... especially on chili fries
I have to admit I love a good cocktail :) I suppose that would be my vice! xo
Yeah, like trying different ones... I call that Miami Vice, I love Miami by the way :D
I don't know I don't have many. I can be passive sometimes. But I think I just as much over react to things. I wouldn't consider myself apathetic but I do feel like I am laid back for he most part. But somethings trigger me. I have told a few times that I don't care about anything which isn't true I just don't get mad about everything little thing I know I have no control over.
I don't feel guilty about anything I do. People who try to make you second guess yourself are rank assholes and should be executed.
lol. my vice is eating too much junk, lack of exercise but I'm never fat. and falling for the bad guys that aren't good for me
Right now, my main vice is that my sleeping pattern is all whacked out.
For me, ever since entering college. My sleep is always an issue... I hardly get any sleep
There's no such thing as too much. By the time you reach that point, you've already stopped.
uhh, too much internet...
I would agree... somehow... :D
Fucking.
No kidding. It's the most fun vice there is.
Sex.
