Extra Rib on Lower Left Side?

It looks and feels like I have an extra (mildly weaker) rib on my lower left side. Is this weird? Does anyone have the same thing? What you you guys think... let me know. Google hasn't been helping, they typically talk about extra ribs up near the collarbone, which is not what I have.

It's the floating rib.
You have more of them, but it's most likely you have a condition that causes one of the floating ribs to protrude and show up.

Could be hypermobility (of the cartilage that is supposed to hold it in place) or scoliosis.
In any case I'd have it checked out just so you know.

nah girl, it's just the way you were formed, it's a small deformation on your rib cage, it doesn't make you any less beautiful or anything, it's normal, I mean I have one too if you would like to ask about it or see it

yes it can feel more sensitive due to the fact that it's not necessarily supposed to be there cause it's a deformation, but it's not a problem at all, it's a very common thing

It’s an anomaly, I also have an extra lower left rib. I didn’t know until after an x-ray, the Dr. told me, she said it’s just an anomaly and theirs nothing really wrong with it. Guess it’s better then an obvious one.

I am not a Doctor if you are really concerned go see one, but what I can say is that you look attractive and I don't really think it matters if you were worried about how it looks and not health risks
