Why do girls have to share everything with their friends?

Hi,

So I've been on a couple of dates with this girl Liza, and have kept in touch through email lately because we've been busy. She is 27, and I am 23. I don't go about asking out much, but I did ask her out.

Today a friend of mine (guy) told me that his girlfriend told him about me going out with Liza, and that the whole university is talking about it, because I'm not someone who normally asks out and all. And that I get a lot of opportunities from girls, but I just don't...I found out that Liza is the one who told her friends that I invited her out, and all that stuff, with some details..

Why do girls have to tell their friends such stuff? What can be the possible reasons? Guys don't usually do this, so I can't relate to it.

It makes everything more real. Also if i am really excited about a date i HAVE to discuss it with my friends, like what to wear etc. besides that way i can have a second opinion, we can sit down and analyze what he said for hours!! But that said i wouldn't tell details to others, just my very very close friends so it doesn't go aroud like that. Also if he tells me something private i won't share. Other then that its exciting to share! Its also a bit of bragging, because i am proud to be dating my bf.

Don't ye just hate it when conversations run dry and your hot topic? No in a good way either. Just imagine what its going to be like after you two get intimate.

hahaha, girls love to talk and they love gossip and talking about guys. Not all girls are like this, but it's kind of like what we do for fun. Guys talk about, I dunno, sports? haha
