What should I wear?
I am so nervous...
Any tips?
I am not Italian so I don't have that in my favor.
All I know is he is the 'favorite son' and if Momma doesn't like me, I am done.

Trending & News I am not as qualified as Mikenice8 as I am only half-italian, but on top of what he said, I would also suggest that if you are greeted with hugs and kisses, don't tense up, and return the embrace and kisses equally. Also be aware that Italian guys (including the brothers and fathers)(no offense mikenice8 :P) tend to be very relaxed and open, so if they make any inappropriate comments, especially after they have had something to drink, think nothing of it. As mikenice8 said, make sure you are friendly, to everyone, if you are unfriendly to any of them then you will end up with an enemy in the family, and that is never good. Additionally talk to them, including the father, allow them to tell you about themselves and their experiences, ask them questions about their family, and make sure you listen and respond appropriately. Additionally offer to help clean up in the kitchen, if the mother says no, offer again, if she keeps saying no, then leave it. Other than that, relax be careful what you say, and as with all such parental meetings, listen to what they are talking about and try to speak on similar matters.
I'm an Italian and from experience be cool, we're loving families and the mom is always to nice. Just relax, do not turn down any food she makes, and ask for seconds and compliment it for sure. Just be sweet and all will be good.
I'm Italian. I agree with what mikenice8 has said but can I suggest bringing something as a gift or food, because Italians like that :).
