I enjoy Milk as my main drink. Followed by juices, various kinds. For pop, I like root beer and cream soda the most. Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Code Red Mountain Dew are also good. Ginger Ale and Sprite are good calming drinks. I always get Ginger Ale when I fly. That's the whole six times I've flown, but still. Sprite and Ginger Ale can be good with juices as well. I drink mostly water with some lemon juice or some form of drink powder at times. (They say to mix them with 16.9 oz of water [500ml] but I generally find that too sweet. So I mix it with 20oz instead.) I rarely drink pop anymore. I haven't given it up, but it's more a treat or for a special occasion. I've started drinking Gatorade/G2/Propel Fitness Water once and a while as well.
Now why do I like root beer? I have no clue. I just really enjoy it. I like the flavor. It's also, though not by a lot, one of the better pops you can drink. Root beer floats also! You have to love those.
I grew up w/Coke, so that's what I really like. I've tried most other sodas & the only one that comes close for me is Dr. Pepper, but I definitely like Coke the best. (I think my dad must have put it in my bottle when I was a baby too! ha ha)
Funny you should ask that, Pepsi is my #1 favorite pop ever. And Dr. Pepper is my absolute worst pop ever, like if I am really thirsty and I need a sip of something and all anyone has around them is DP I won't take a sip because I dislike it that much. And it's funny that I don't like it so much, because most of my family loves it. And DP is followed by Coke, although I will sip that if I need something to drink.
my answer is quite different. I think coke tastes better when it is flavored like .vanilla coke, cherry coke, etc. You can taste the flavor better in coke. Pepsi is better when plain, like a diet pepsi, etc. So if I want a diet/regular drink I pick pepsi, if I want something with a kick I pick vanilla coke or cherry coke.

Dr Pepper is my favorite. I live in Texas, so it's widely available. I also grew up with it. Besides, Dublin isn't too far out, so getting the DP made with real sugar isn't too difficult. They're actually sold at the local Wal-Mart too.
I voted for coke, but I have a ton of respect for the Dr. Pepper corporation for being independent and making really great sodas.

Coca-Cola: I like how it has a tiny bit of sweetness and tastes amazing with a burger or pizza

I like Pepsi best because I like sweet drinks/food. Just plain Pepsi though. If I get something flavored, I usually go with Coca Cola. I only drink colas--I can't stand the taste of lemon-lime drinks.

Although if I had to choose a soda it would be Sprite or 7-Up.
As far as the high fructose sodas are concerned, I go RC Cola. But my choice in soda is Bubble Up and anything from Route 66 Bottling or Jackson Hole Soda Company.

i have to say pepsi I don't know it just tastes good but I also like mountain dew and squrit. and in the summer lots of water soda just makes you more thristy then. but when I drink a mixed drink (alcohol wise) it can't have soda in it it has to b tea or cranberry juice.
White or green tea, or orange juice. I don't drink pop, I usualy stick with water unless one of the drinks I listed is available. Or chocholate milk, that's good too.
much sodas - much fat :D and it really damages your health so I prefer water and juices

Coca-Cola was my choice, but all of the colas taste good in my opinion.
Water & orange juice. Before last night, I hadn't had soda in years. though I had a sip or two with some pizza. I regretted it immediately -- I ruined my record! Now I have to start over.
I like Coke the best, yet I voted other because I am also crazy about Diet Cherry 7-Up.
I like Dr Pepper but it isn't sold in many places in Australia. Otherwise vanilla coke is my favorite soft drink.
i love coca cola but also ginger ale. but since we don't have ginger ale, in the country where I live , I chose coke
