I try to go every other day. If you do decide to go every day or several days in a row, make sure you aren't hitting the exact same muscle group multiple days in a row. Further micro tears to your already damaged muscles will stunt growth instead of spurt it.
That being said not everyone is going to the gym to increase muscle mass, so if you're going, make sure you outline your reason and set realistic goals.
Work out meaning if you are referring to weight lifting then I never do that. However, I love playing badminton which is a sport but also natural cardio.
However, right now I am not doing anything but I can maintain my physique because I have total and supreme control on my input.
I do! I typically workout 6 days a week, an average of 30-60 minutes per day.
I alternate between either cardio or weight training depending on my mood or what my particular goal is for that week. For example, today I probably do a light jog. Tomorrow I'll do strength training or HIIT.

I take a course at my school, it’s a weight lifting course. I have to do minor cardio, and then weight lifting 4 days a week. It’s pretty cool, saves me from having to spend the money on a gym membership
I do it quite often, When ever I feel like it and if my muscles are sore. I would make them sore.
