No, but I'm certified to do it.
My husband gave me the heimlich once because I started choking on a shrimp taco 😂
Cheers to your husband & hero & as for being certified it’s always a great thing to know along with CPR & AED as well.
Yeah, I got those, too. Need to have 'em for my job. I've had to do CPR before.
Yes at the hospital that I worked at ❣️

I have not. But I’ve been trained in it for 23 years and taught it to hundreds of people as a CPR instructor. Its actually called “abdominal thrusts” as “the Heimlich maneuver” is copyrighted. I often wonder if one of mu students has saved a life with the skills I taught them.
Know the basics but never been around anyone choking like that. In Japan, it sometimes happens to very old people when they eat mochi (very chewy rice cake), so restaurants often keep a vacuum to suck the food out of their mouths if they choke.
Some what, it was my neigbors 8 month old baby.
I grabbed the baby and tired to reach in and pull out what he had stuck. That was not working. So I quicky put the bady (belly side down) on my lap. Give 3 semi hard pushes to his back. Turned baby back over and then try again to dislodged the item. This time success.
I was 17 then and it just so happen to take a CPR class in school a week earlier. Thats one time I was glad I didn't skip school
Yes and have had it done for me

I did once. It wasn't much really.
As you say it wasn’t much & if truth be told it was something so well done my friend or should I say hero.
Not yet but I guess I would if I needed to
