Have you ever saved a life?

Question

I know @FunkyMonkee has at least 4 times. I have 4 people as well and one of those three times. It was somewhat of a strange feeling at the time. As though it was a common occurrence. If you think about it, you could have saved somebody's life indirectly. But it's the same as if you had directly intervened. I may have more that I don't even know about. If you know what I mean. @MarjorieJ probably has a few.

At least 4, so far.
My best friend, Jennifer, was talking about jumping out of a 4th or 5th story window because of a romance issue she was dealing with and I talked her through it
My other best friend, Kelly, had been dealing with HORRIFIC situations after she moved here from Conn. to be with her raging asshole boyfriend and ended up getting raped in the process and was talking about killing herself and I talked her out of it.
Mom had cancer all over her body and I made her a cancer cure and, within a month or so, she was completely clean. It started to come back a month later so, I got her another one to take and, again, in a couple weeks, she was clean.
And, a few months ago, I heard that someone's sister had cancer and was given a couple weeks to live. I told him how I cured mom and he gave it to his sister and, here it is, at least 3 months later and she's still alive!!
When I was about 8 years old, I went down to the river 4 blocks from my house and saw a bunch of older kids swimming in it just past the shoreline and I decided to go in, too. Dad had my brother & I down there a few weeks before on the other side of a stone support under the railroad bridge and we were able to just walk into the water so, this particular time, I went in on the other side of the support without knowing how to swim, thought it was gonna be just like the other side and, as soon as I jumped in, I sank like a rock!! It was at least 10" deep on that side!! Thankfully, there were holes drilled into the huge black rocks and I could stick my fingers in to pull myself up but still wasn't very adept at that! One of the older kids saw me drowning, jumped in and saved MY life!! If it hadn't been for him, Terry Donnick, I couldn't have saved the lives of those 4 that I saved. Sadly, a few years later, his cousin, Andy Donnick, a friend of mine, went to Texas on a fishing trip and was walking along a creek, slipped on a rock in the mud, fell down hit his head on the rock and died. Too bad one of my cousins in San Antonio couldn't have been there to help Andy!

Dongie, nobody believes me, and neither do I believe me. But my brother and I had a side-gig picking up dead people. In the movies, they send a fancy hearse. That's bullshit. The hearse is for funeral appearances. The pickup was with a discrete, blue Chevy van. Nobody at a nursing home wants to see a hearse pull up. lol

Another falsehood in the movies, is that all dead people are in body-bags. Yeah, sure. The unicorns fly down and manage that part.

I've taken First Aid a few times. They change the rules every time. The last time they said that CPR doesn't work. The only thing you can do is call 911.

I saved a little girl from drowning one summer years ago. There was 12-15 people around & they just watched her struggle in the water.
