Yes! A family friend has quite a high position in the medical comite of my country... and she also refuses to be vaccinated for good reasons... š these are only symptoms coming along quite rapidly... just imagine long-term side effects... š¤Ø
I donāt want to get it. Iām young and thereās zero danger for me. I find it weird how they seem like they really want you to get it. I don't know. If it wasnāt so politicized I probably would, but no I donāt want it
It's not zero danger at your age, not even of dying, and there's also the chance of heart disease and erectile dysfunction. But you do you.
It's only politicised because Trump Republicans made it so; Bush had a reasonable approach to pandemics, so did Obama, who was attacked for "allowing" about 12,000 Americans to die in the last pandemic.
Because Trump republicans made it so? You literally had Kamala on TV saying she wonāt get the vaccine under Trump like heās the one making it. Biden literally is responding exactly how Trump was to the vaccine.
Show me the stats Iāll change my opinion with credible evidence
Well, first of all, that's a misrepresentation of what Harris said:
"āIf the public health professionals, if Dr. Fauci, if the doctors tell us we should take it, Iāll be the first in line to take it, absolutely,ā Harris said. āBut if Donald Trump tells us we should take it, Iām not taking it.ā"
I don't know exactly what statistics you'd be interested in, but there are two reasons for mass vaccination.
1. To keep the vaccinated from severe illness or death. 2. To stop the spread of the disease. (The more people have it, the more people get it, and the higher the chance of mutations.)
"Although COVID-19 is seen as a disease that primarily affects the lungs, it can damage many other organs as well. This organ damage may increase the risk of long-term health problems. Organs that may be affected by COVID-19 include:
Heart. Imaging tests taken months after recovery from COVID-19 have shown lasting damage to the heart muscle, even in people who experienced only mild COVID-19 symptoms. This may increase the risk of heart failure or other heart complications in the future. Lungs. The type of pneumonia often associated with COVID-19 can cause long-standing damage to the tiny air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs. The resulting scar tissue can lead to long-term breathing problems. Brain. Even in young people, COVID-19 can cause strokes, seizures and Guillain-Barre syndrome ā a condition that causes temporary paralysis. COVID-19 may also increase the risk of developing Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease."
"A Brazilian town has seen a 95% drop in Covid-19 deaths after almost all adults were vaccinated as part of an experiment, researchers say.
Serrana, with 45,000 inhabitants, saw cases plunge after a mass vaccination with the Chinese-developed CoronaVac.
The team said those who had not been vaccinated were also protected by the reduction in the virus's circulation.
... The experiment in Serrana, in the south-eastern SĆ£o Paulo state, was carried out between February and April by Instituto Butantan, which produces the CoronaVac vaccine developed by China's Sinovac Biotech.
The city was divided into four areas to help determine the threshold for containing the virus. The team said this was achieved after three areas, or about 75% of the population over the age of 18, had been given both doses.
When 95% of adults were fully vaccinated, they said the results showed that:
Deaths fell by 95% Hospitalisations fell by 86% Symptomatic cases fell by 80%"
The "variants" are literally people who got the flu lol. They're saying there are variants to scare you into getting it. This world right now is running on fear, and always has. They've always scared us into doing things just because they want us to lmao. I can guarantee you, you'd be just as safe, if not more so, WITHOUT the vaccine lmao.
@kitkills Says the man that is one of the lucky ones. The pandemic is slowly being diminished and put under control. But never fear, just like the flu, we'll need a booster shot. If you've ever had the flu, a really bad case of it, you'd understand.
I've had the flu before lmao, when I was pretty young. You're right it wasn't so bad that I was going to die or anything, but that doesn't have much to do with the fact that they didn't take enough time to develop this vaccine lol
@kitkills The best scientists have worked on these various vaccines. There IS more to it than just putting a few chemicals together. The general stages of the development cycle of a vaccine are: 1. Exploratory stage 2. Pre-clinical stage 3. Clinical development 4. Regulatory review and approval 5. Manufacturing 6. Quality control Clinical development is a three-phase process. During Phase I, small groups of people receive the trial vaccine. In Phase II, the clinical study is expanded and vaccine is given to people who have characteristics (such as age and physical health) similar to those for whom the new vaccine is intended.
I don't need a test, I'm already fully vaccinated.
@kitkills No, it's really not "the flu", they're completely different viruses, and it's not some big plan to keep people afraid, it's exactly what the doctors say it is. The vaccines don't make you magnetic, either.
That means 21 million people died. And many, many millions more suffered greatly while fighting it and most still have bad effects from it. Not at all good enough.
No, I just put a single round in the cylinder instead.

Some people just don't see the signs. I can tell who has had the vaccine just from how they act, and how their mind is. That alone should give you at least some pause for thought because I sure can't tell you whose had a flu jab by observing that...

Why would I take a vaccine that pushes a scare that destroyed lives and triggered an avalanche of virtue signalling?
Dumb is far from sexy.
Nope my aunt had Pfizer as a perfectly healthy and very active woman... now she's in hospital with severe side effects... 😑😔
Seriously, it's making people more sick than if they just didn't get it

Exactly! I'm genuinely worried about the people who are getting these vaccines, I can't imagine what it's doing
Not before July August in Belgium for my age group.
waiting for my second dose! should be very soon, I'm past the waiting period.
I donāt want to get it. Iām young and thereās zero danger for me. I find it weird how they seem like they really want you to get it. I don't know. If it wasnāt so politicized I probably would, but no I donāt want it

You shouldn't underestimate non-fatal effects of infection, either.

I had my last shot 2 weeks ago so I am fully vaccinated now
Who the fuck would downvote that sentence?
Been completely vaccinated since the middle of March.
Same
I've had covid a month ago so I have to wait two months.
Both, AND been tested on three different occasions.
Never been tested, which is driving my wife around the bend! :)
@goaded Just get the test and the vaccine. It is no big deal.
it IS a big deal. It's far too underdeveloped.
@kitkills So far it's kept ME safe and from what I see lately, it's good for warding off the variants that are out there.
The "variants" are literally people who got the flu lol. They're saying there are variants to scare you into getting it. This world right now is running on fear, and always has. Dude, stating all the phases doesn't stop the fact that they went through all of them too fast to produce an accurate product
I don't need a test, I'm already fully vaccinated.

Had my first yesterday, have my second at the end of August.
Never will, the only way Im getting if they kill me first, by the way I never had a vaccine in my whole life
No, but I should, otherwise I won't be able to travel home anytime soon.
I just had my second shot on June 2, 2021 Moderna vaccine
No vaccines aren't required and I'm under 30 so not worried
99.997 survival rate is good enough
That means 21 million people died. And many, many millions more suffered greatly while fighting it and most still have bad effects from it. Not at all good enough.
99.997 of the people who got it. . . Why would I include people who haven't got covid?
Because your question is about the vaccine and getting the vaccine has helped millions avoid getting covid and perhaps dying from it.
Yes but thats the pre vaccine numbers LOL. now it's even higher
No, I just put a single round in the cylinder instead.

I go the poke in March. Arm was pretty sore after, but no other issues came about from it.
Nah.
I'll get it when I'm forced or when it gets FDA approved.
I was vaccinated in February and March. My life has been muuuuuch better since then.
Nope and don't intend to, it'll be a great way of weeding out the potential idiots in the dating pool, all I'll have to do is ask one simple question
